Verita’s Student Development Program (SDP)
The strengths, weaknesses, intelligence and inclinations of students are different, and it is essential to identify them correctly in time in order to take the right career decision. Many a times, parents are not aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their child and end up taking wrong decisions while choosing a career path. A single wrong decision can ruin the entire career of the student. Keeping this in mind Verità has specially designed the Student Development Program (SDP) to help student chose the right career path and the early stages of their careers and live a more fulfilled life.
Realizing the importance and the uses of the MBTI® in career and relationship coaching, since 1995, we have been administering, researching and continuously customizing the original MBTI® questionnaire as well the methodology to conduct this questionnaire for the people of our motherland. In addition of having an Urdu version, we have designed an infant as well as children version of the personality typing questionnaire (PTQ), helping parents to assess the personality types of their children.
If unsure about which route to take in pursuing a career fit, or if curious about how a friend reacts in certain situations, or even if puzzled over some inherent quirk, then taking the PTQ may be of service. This test is all about career and life choices through each person’s unique personality.
For effective outcomes, our SDP is administered with pre- and post-PTQ coaching. We conduct a 60 minutes post PTQ session to prepare students for PTQ. Our PTQ for students contains some typical and well designed questions which help to analyze the personality of the student. The test may have anything between fifty to hundred questions and most of the times; you will get one minute on an average to answer a particular question. The questions will have multiple options and the candidates taking PTQ are supposed to choose the correct alternative. What is expected from the candidates is that they sincerely attempt all the questions in the allotted time. After the PTQ, students are briefed about their own type as well as other personality types. Differences, career choices, communication styles, and areas of growth of each personality types are highlighted. This post-PTQ may take 3-4 hours depending on the size of the group.
Our SDP is administered by professionals, specially trained for this. It can be taken individually or in a classroom environment. Many facets of a person’s make-up can be discovered. Students can gain knowledge on which career path is best suited for them, how different personality types interact, leading to better understanding of relationships, or how a personality type views life.
